Quaker Square

Quaker Square is a fascinating shopping and dining area in Downtown Akron. It was built during the 1970’s by a few developers who wanted to construct a one-of-a-kind entertainment area for the residents and tourists. However, it has been purchased by the University of Akron who converted the area into a dorm for students. It now consists of a few shops, a grille and an ice-cream parlor. Nevertheless, if you walk a few more miles, you would reach the Main Street where you would find a few more shops and restaurants.
